Steve Martin Reconsidered Tinnitus Cause

American actor and comedian Steve Martin developed tinnitus around the time he filmed a pistol-fight scene for Three Amigos (1986). Although he initially blamed the gunfire, he later attributed the condition to years of loud music and performing before noisy crowds. Describing the permanent ringing, Martin said, "You just get used to it, or you go insane."
