Heather Donahue Carried Giant Knife

On the first day of filming The Blair Witch Project (1999), American actress Heather Donahue arrived with a giant knife after her friends and family warned that the mysterious production sounded like a snuff film. They were alarmed that she would be camping in the woods with men she did not know, and her mother even asked her to obtain their Social Security numbers.
