Sherwin-Williams Withheld Million-Dollar Home-Run Donation

In 2017, Los Angeles Angels outfielder Justin Upton hit a 444-foot home run that bounced off the grass and dropped into a giant Sherwin-Williams paint can beyond left-center field at Angel Stadium. The can was part of a promotion promising a $1 million donation to the Angels Baseball Foundation if an Angels player landed a home run inside it. Despite the ball ending up in the can, the donation was not made because the rules required it to enter "on the fly" without bouncing first.
