DELO Glue Suspended 17-Tonne Truck

In 2019, German adhesive company DELO set a Guinness World Record by suspending a 17.20-tonne truck in the air for one hour using their glue. A crane lifted the truck one meter through a bonded aluminum cylinder with a radius of just 3.5 centimeters. DELO developed its heat-resistant MONOPOX epoxy specifically for the attempt, surpassing the 16.09-tonne record set by the German Aerospace Centre in 2013.
