Hitler Gave Newlyweds His Photograph

In 1936, Adolf Hitler attended the secret Berlin wedding of British fascist leader Oswald Mosley and British socialite Diana Mitford and gave them a silver-framed photograph of himself as a wedding gift. Joseph Goebbels hosted the ceremony in the drawing room of his home, with Hitler serving as the guest of honor. The frame featured Hitler's initials and the German eagle, while the couple kept their marriage secret until 1938.
