English king Eadwig, who reigned from 955 to 959, allegedly left his coronation feast at Kingston upon Thames in January 956 to have a threesome with his future wife, Aelfgifu, and her mother, Aethelgifu. He was about 15 years old at the time. An early account claimed that English abbot Dunstan pulled Eadwig from the couch, replaced his crown, and marched him back to the assembled nobles.
