Chris Hansen Exposed Hidden Corruption

Before To Catch a Predator, American television journalist Chris Hansen worked as an NBC and Dateline NBC correspondent on undercover investigations into corruption, exploitation, and national security failures. His earlier reporting used hidden cameras to examine forced child labor in India, airport-security weaknesses, and overseas trafficking networks. After the September 11 attacks, Hansen also reported on terrorism-related investigations and alleged links between U.S.-based actors and extremist networks. The work made him known for exposing corruption and criminal systems before he became widely associated with predator-sting reporting.
