Scientist Injected Ancient Bacteria Experiment

Russian scientist Anatoli Brouchkov injected himself with a 3.5-million-year-old strain of bacteria that researchers had found preserved in Siberian permafrost. He said he wanted to see what would happen after observing that the bacteria appeared unusually resilient in laboratory studies. Brouchkov later claimed he felt healthier afterward.
