Baby Born After Parents' Deaths

In 2017, a baby boy was born four years after his parents died in a car crash in China. Before the accident, the couple had undergone fertility treatment and stored embryos in liquid nitrogen. Their four parents fought a lengthy legal battle to gain custody of the frozen embryos and eventually arranged for a surrogate to carry the pregnancy. After the child's birth, all four grandparents took DNA tests to confirm that the baby was their biological grandson.
