Manuel Noriega Sued Call OfDuty

Panamanian dictator and drug trafficker Manuel Noriega reportedly had no idea he appeared as a villain in the video game Call of Duty: Black Ops II until his grandchildren asked him why they were hunting him in the game. The game, released in 2012, portrayed Noriega as a key antagonist during missions based on historical events in Panama. After learning about his depiction, Noriega filed a lawsuit against the game's publisher, claiming it used his likeness without permission. A court ultimately dismissed the case.
