Monaco Hosts Most Formula Drivers

More than half of the current (2026) Formula 1 grid lives in Monaco, a country with a population of only about 38,500 people. Several factors, such as its favorable tax policies, proximity to numerous European race venues, and long-standing association with motorsport, attract drivers to Monaco. The principality is also home to the famous Monaco Grand Prix, one of Formula 1's most prestigious races.
