Christina's Corner Saved Movie Rituals

After a video rental store in Pocatello, Idaho, closed its doors, a woman named Christina Bennington, who has Down syndrome and is mostly nonverbal, lost a routine she had followed for years. Christina loved renting movies, and her family worried about how the closure would affect her. To help, a nearby convenience store created a video rental section called "Christina's Corner" and stocked it with hundreds of DVDs. The new section allowed Christina to continue her cherished movie-rental ritual.
