Tame Impala sounds like a full band on record, but Australian musician Kevin Parker writes, plays, records, and produces the project’s studio music himself. He uses the Tame Impala name for his psychedelic music project rather than as a traditional band lineup. When Tame Impala tours, Parker brings other musicians onstage to turn the solo recordings into a full live band.
