Newton Wrote Mostly Religious Papers

Only a fraction of British physicist and mathematician Isaac Newton’s surviving written output focused on science and math. Of the roughly 10 million words he left behind, about half dealt with religion, about 1 million words covered alchemy, and roughly 3 million words focused on science and math. The papers showed that the man remembered for gravity and calculus spent much of his private writing on biblical interpretation, prophecy, and alchemical studies.
