George Lucas Joked About Vader-Luke

George Lucas once told a collaborator that he planned to end "Return of the Jedi" with Luke Skywalker becoming the new Darth Vader. In that version, Luke would have turned against the Rebels and destroyed the Rebel Fleet. The collaborator liked the dark twist, but Lucas then told him he had only been joking.
