Mark Hamill Played Jake Skywalker

Mark Hamill felt deeply uncomfortable with Luke Skywalker’s portrayal in "The Last Jedi." To get through the role, he said he had to pretend he was playing a different character instead of the Luke he knew from the original trilogy. Hamill even referred to that imagined version as "Jake Skywalker" to separate the performance in his mind.
