Star Wars Theme Matched Fanfare

The "Star Wars" theme was written in the same key as the 20th Century Fox fanfare that played before the movie began. This decision facilitated a seamless transition from the fanfare to the opening music, rather than creating a jarring interruption. It gave viewers a smoother entry into the film before the story even started.
