Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, who played Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, were reluctant to kiss each other in "Deathly Hallows Part II." They had known each other since they were about 9 years old, growing up together on set through the franchise. Because they saw each other more like brother and sister, the long-awaited Ron and Hermione kiss became awkward for both actors to film.
