Alex Trebek Framed Bounced Check

Before "Jeopardy!" made him a game-show icon, Canadian host Alex Trebek hosted the 1981-82 Canadian game show "Pitfall." The show’s producer, Catalena Productions, went bankrupt, leaving Trebek with only half his salary while many contestants also went unpaid. Trebek later framed the bounced C$49,000 check from Catalena and hung it in his home as a reminder of how his fellow Canadians did him dirty.
