Scottish actor Rory McCann, who played the Hound on "Game of Thrones," usually lived a solitary lifestyle and kept to himself while filming. During season 7, he bonded with the actors playing the Brotherhood Without Banners after learning that Richard Dormer and Paul Kaye were musicians. Their offset jams became a small cast band called the "Brotherhood Without Banjos," with McCann joining in because he could sing and play instruments, including piano, mandolin, and banjo.
