Jeopardy’s Think Theme Paid Millions

Jeopardy!' creator Merv Griffin composed the famous "Think!" theme in under a minute as a lullaby for his son Tony. The tune, originally called "A Time for Tony," later became the 30-second Final Jeopardy! countdown music. By 2005, Griffin said it had earned him more than $70 million in royalties, the equivalent of a Jeopardy contestant winning every game for about a decade.
