Prince Collaboration Died Over Smoking

A potential collaboration between American musician Prince and the virtual band Gorillaz never happened because Damon Albarn was not allowed to smoke in Prince’s studio. The missed session would have joined Prince with Albarn’s animated music project, best known for mixing rock, hip-hop, and electronic sounds. Instead, one no-smoking rule killed a collaboration before it could begin.
