JFK Posed as Clark Kent

JFK Posed as Clark Kent

In Action Comics #309 (February 1964), Superman trusts President John F. Kennedy with his secret identity, then gets dragged into a White House plan that could have exposed him on live TV. To keep the cover intact, Kennedy steps in as the decoy and poses as Clark Kent while Superman handles the heroics elsewhere. The comic hit stands in a surreal window after Kennedy’s assassination, which only made the whole “JFK is in the issue” moment even stranger in hindsight.
