Batmobile Seatbelts, National Safety Council

In the 1960s "Batman" TV series, the show started putting seatbelts in the Batmobile after a complaint from the National Safety Council. Thereafter, Batman and Robin would visibly buckle up on camera before taking off to set a good example.
