Chinese Villagers Boiled Dragon Bones

They called the fossils “dragon bones,” then boiled them in soup or ground them into powder because they believed the material could help with problems like dizziness and leg cramps in children. Scientists later realized that bones being sold and consumed in the area were actually dinosaur fossils.
