Buffy TV Revival Backed by Dolly

After the 1992 Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie bombed, the property could have died right there, but Dolly Parton still had skin in the game through her production company, Sandollar. Sandollar helped bring Buffy back to TV, even though Parton’s role stayed uncredited and mostly invisible to viewers. Her company’s involvement kept the concept alive long enough for the series to happen and turn into a long-running cult hit.
