American Idol Clarkson Feared Winner Movie

In 2002, singer Kelly Clarkson competed on the first season of American Idol, and the show’s winner prize came with more than a record deal. Clarkson later said she did not want to win because the winner was contractually bound to make a romantic musical comedy. But that obligation became real when she ultimately won and then starred in the film From Justin to Kelly.
