Carole Landis Rachel Roberts Tragedies

Actresses Carole Landis and Rachel Roberts both died by suicide after the collapse of their romantic relationships with actor Rex Harrison. Landis, who had been involved with Harrison during the 1940s, died in 1948 following the end of their affair. Roberts, who later married Harrison, died in 1980 after their marriage deteriorated and they separated. Harrison himself went on to win the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in My Fair Lady (1964).
