Alicia Witt Parents Freeze Tragedy

In December 2021, actress Alicia Witt’s parents, Robert Witt, 87, and Diane Witt, 75, were found dead inside their home in Worcester, Massachusetts. Authorities later determined that the couple likely suffered fatal cardiac events brought on by extreme cold after their home’s heating system failed. Neighbors and family had repeatedly offered help with repairs, but the couple consistently refused assistance and would not allow workers into the house. Witt later said she had tried for years to arrange repairs or relocation, but her parents stubbornly rejected all attempts to help.
