Peter Woodcock Killed After Release

Canadian child murderer Peter Woodcock, later known as David Michael Krueger, killed several boys in Toronto, Canada, between 1956 and 1957 before authorities arrested him. The serial killer spent decades in psychiatric institutions where doctors subjected him to intensive psychological treatment and eventually declared him safe for limited freedom. In 1991, officials granted Woodcock a supervised weekend pass from the mental health facility. Within about an hour of leaving the institution, he murdered fellow patient Fred Turlington. Woodcock later claimed that the years of treatment had only made him better at manipulating people.
