Ahmad Suradji Spirit-Power Graves

Indonesian serial killer Ahmad Suradji, sometimes called the “Sorcerer Killer,” murdered dozens of women in North Sumatra during the 1990s. Suradji lured victims to his home by claiming he could perform magical rituals that would bring them wealth or protection. During the killings, he buried the victims in shallow graves with their heads deliberately pointing toward his house. Suradji believed that positioning the bodies this way would allow him to channel the power of their spirits for supernatural strength. Authorities eventually arrested him after discovering dozens of bodies, and a court later sentenced him to death.
