Charles Manson Corpse Wedding Plot

In 2014, imprisoned cult leader Charles Manson received a marriage license to wed 26-year-old Afton Elaine “Star” Burton at Corcoran State Prison in California. Burton had spent years publicly supporting Manson and claiming she loved him. Authorities later discovered that Burton and her associate Craig Hammond had a different plan. They reportedly intended to display Manson’s body as a tourist attraction after his death. Once the scheme became known, the planned wedding to the infamous serial killer was cancelled.
