Jeffrey Dahmer’s Prison Gym Killing

Serial killer and cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer was beaten to death inside the Columbia Correctional Institution in Wisconsin on November 28, 1994. Dahmer had been serving 15 consecutive life sentences for the murders of 17 young men and boys committed between 1978 and 1991. During a prison work detail in the facility gym, fellow inmate Christopher Scarver attacked Dahmer with a metal bar taken from the prison weight room. Scarver later said he was disgusted by Dahmer’s crimes and claimed Dahmer had mocked them by shaping food into severed body parts in the cafeteria.
