McDonald’s $300 Million Arch Deluxe

In the mid-1990s, McDonald's launched the Arch Deluxe, a "grown-up" burger aimed at adults, and poured an estimated $300 million into its research, production, and marketing. The company rolled out what was then the largest advertising and promotional campaign in fast food history. Customers never embraced it, and McDonald's eventually pulled the Arch Deluxe.
