Stellan Skarsgard Acts By Earpiece

In 2022, Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård suffered a stroke that affected his memory and language, making it hard for him to remember his lines. To keep working, he now wears an earpiece on set while an assistant feeds him his dialogue in real time during projects like Dune: Part Two and Andor season 2. He has said this new way of working is challenging, but he is relieved that the core of his acting survived the stroke.
