On the set of Martin Scorsese’s film "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore," six-year-old extra Laura Dern stood out during a scene that required multiple takes. Scorsese shot the scene 19 times, and Dern ate 19 ice cream cones without getting sick. Impressed, he reportedly said, "She ate 19 ice cream cones and didn't get sick; that girl's gonna be an actress!" Dern later fulfilled that prediction by becoming an Academy Award-winning actress.
