Telephone Wire Decapitates Truck Passenger

In 2004, a Georgia man named Francis Daniel Brohm stuck his head out of a pickup truck window when the driver swerved, and a telephone pole wire decapitated him. The sudden impact killed Brohm instantly and left his body inside the vehicle. John Kemper Hutcherson, who drove the car, continued home, parked, and went inside to sleep with his friend’s corpse still in the truck. A neighbor discovered the body the next morning and alerted authorities.
