When Jared Leto heard that Warner Bros. was making a Joker movie without his interpretation of the character, he reportedly felt alienated and upset. He went so far as to ask his music manager to try to get the project canceled, and his frustration over the situation led him to end his relationship with Creative Artists Agency, which he felt had not fought hard enough for his version.
