Anglin Brothers’ Mysterious Funeral Visitors

John and Clarence Anglin were two of the three inmates who escaped from Alcatraz in 1962 and were officially reported to have drowned in San Francisco Bay. Despite that conclusion, their mother received flowers from an anonymous sender every Mother's Day until she died. At her funeral, witnesses reported that two very tall unknown women attended the service and then disappeared. Some family members believed these visitors were actually the Anglin brothers in disguise, though authorities never proved it.
