Hepburn Skips Spencer Tracy Funeral

During a 26-year affair with Katharine Hepburn, actor Spencer Tracy never divorced his wife, and studio publicists kept the relationship quiet outside Hollywood. Even when Tracy died in 1967 with Hepburn present, they told the press and the public that he had been alone. Out of respect for his wife and children, Hepburn chose not to attend his funeral.
