Brando Blocks Burt Reynolds Godfather

Burt Reynolds was considered for the role of Michael Corleone in The Godfather, but Marlon Brando said he would walk away from the film if they cast him. Brando called Reynolds "the epitome of something that makes me want to throw up" and "everything that is disgusting about the thespian," saying Reynolds worshipped "at the temple of his own narcissism."
