Jack Black's Led Zeppelin Plea

Jack Black desperately wanted to use a Led Zeppelin's song in School of Rock, but the band was notoriously reluctant to license their music for films. On the director’s suggestion, he recorded a personal plea to the band in front of about 1,000 extras, asking them on camera to let the movie use the track. The stunt worked, and Led Zeppelin granted permission.
