Eddie Murphy recorded the 1985 song "Party All the Time" after making a $1 million bet with his idol Richard Pryor that he could sing. He put the track on his debut album, How Could It Be, and dedicated the record to Pryor in the liner notes. The dedication reads, "To Richard Pryor, my idol with whom I have a $1,000,000 bet. No Mother Fu*ker, I didn't forget."
