Ryan Reynolds Buys Bea Arthur

Ryan Reynolds personally paid $10,000 to secure the rights to use an image of The Golden Girls star Bea Arthur on a T-shirt in Deadpool. The actress’s estate agreed on the condition that the money go to a charity of their choosing, and Reynolds covered the donation himself. He felt the character would not be complete without Bea Arthur on his chest.
