Oscar The Death-Predicting Nursing-Home Cat

Oscar the therapy cat became known in a Rhode Island nursing home for accurately predicting deaths by curling up next to residents in their final hours. After he correctly anticipated about 25 deaths, staff began to take his presence seriously and notified family members whenever Oscar chose a new bedside companion.
