Baba Vanga's Secondhand Prophecies Debate

Most of the predictions attributed to Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga (1911-1996) were not written down by her during her life. There are no verified contemporary written records of her prophecies, only later compilations by devotees and the media. Because of this, scholars still debate which predictions she actually made and which ones were added later, exaggerated, or wrongly attributed to her. Modern lists of her supposed forecasts often mix claims about major global events with several predictions that sources have shown to be false, keeping the controversy around her legacy alive.
