Hitler Bunker Buried Under Parking

Adolf Hitler’s Berlin bunker, the Führerbunker, where he spent his final days in April 1945, now lies sealed beneath a gravel parking lot beside an apartment complex. After World War II, Soviet and East German authorities partially demolished and backfilled the underground complex and later redeveloped the area with new buildings and roads. By the late twentieth century, nothing visible remained of the bunker on the surface.
