Jewish Philtrum Angel Forgotten Wisdom

In Jewish mythology, everyone has an angel who teaches them all the wisdom in the world in utero, then lightly taps the infant's upper lip before birth to silence it, and some say that tap creates the philtrum, the small indent between the nose and mouth. The touch causes the child to forget everything it learned, so it enters the world knowing nothing despite its hidden past instruction. As the child grows, it must spend a lifetime relearning fragments of the wisdom it once possessed.
