Cassandra Apollo Cursed Trojan Prophetess

In Greek mythology, Kassandra (or Cassandra) was a Trojan priestess whom Apollo both dedicated and cursed, granting her the power to utter true prophecies but ensuring that no one would ever believe her. After she rejected him, Apollo twisted his gift so that her accurate warnings about disasters, including the fall of Troy, were ignored by her own people. She foretold dangers such as the Trojan Horse, yet the Trojans dismissed her as insane and carried on to ruin.
