Theseus Sinis Pine Bender Execution

In Greek mythology, Theseus encountered a bandit named Sinis who killed travelers by making them help him bend pine trees to the ground, then letting go so the trees catapulted his victims to their deaths. Sinis, known as "the Pine-Bender," terrorized the road near the Isthmus of Corinth by luring unsuspecting passersby into this deadly trick. When Theseus met him on his journey to Athens, he overpowered Sinis and forced him to die by the same method he used on others.
